Session 4

The Kobold King

Sunday, Gozran 30th, 4723 AR

With Prince Kolgan at their side, the party marched back into the kobold warren — and the army that had spent four centuries preparing for war laid down its spears at the sight of him. Queen Zolgran did not, and died on her own throne for it. The Stonescales have a new king, the war is over before it started, and the dragon is still down there.

Tamily Tanderveil, the one-legged former pirate who runs the Otari Fishery, needs a few brave souls. Something has taken up residence in the basement of her warehouse and is feasting on her stores of fish. She wants the problem sorted out before the Founder's Day festival.

Queen Zolgran is dead, but the juvenile dragon she raised on stolen fish is very much alive somewhere below her throne room — untamed, growing, and bred for one purpose: to destroy Otari. King Kolgan has sworn the surviving Stonescales to killing it. The party looked at the way down, thought better of it, and turned back toward the rune door. The dragon isn't going anywhere. Neither is its appetite.
