Personality
Nervous, hesitant, and scatterbrained, but a genuinely learned wizard. Despite his scowl, he warms quickly to other scholars and spellcasters, always eager to 'talk shop.'
Backstory
James owns Odd Stories and curates its nonfiction and textbook shelves, with a three-story wizard's tower rising from the back of the shop. He is married to Carl. To the endless confusion of the town, it is the bookish James, not the grand-bearded Carl, who is the actual wizard.
